What We Do
Acme Canine trains dogs for the real world through behavior training and professional coaching. We assist dogs and their owners in developing the skills needed for a happy relationship and a bond that lasts a lifetime. At Acme Canine we believe obedience to be a way of life and so our commitment to our clients is for the life of their dog and beyond.
Canine Resource
Clients can contact us regarding any dog-related issue; visit our blog, Spike Speaks, to gain up to the minute information on dog topics, products and more; sign up for our monthly e-newsletter, The Bark, with articles and Central Ohio dog events that are current to each month; as well as learn a trick each month from our complimentary postcards.
Individualized Training
We will combine our knowledge with your goals to create a training approach that is customized to fit you and your dog.
We believe that dogs are capable of being the well behaved pet and companion that most pet owners dream of having. By providing our dogs with leadership, rules to abide by, and a clear and effective method of communication, we establish ourselves as the pack leaders and gain our dog's respect and trust.
Whether private lesson or overnight camp, it is our goal from the minute we start training with you to have your dog responding reliably off leash to your hand and verbal signals.
Continuing Canine Education
Canine relationships are constantly changing and so we offer advanced training, classes, refreshers, and workshops designed to expand a dog's knowledge, confidence and reliability.
Boarding and Day Care
Any time our client's dog stays with us, we continue obedience with their dog, enforcing commands the dog knows. The number of dogs is limited so each one can have individualized attention, walks and play time.
Fun Events
It's not all hard work and no enjoyment for our Acme Canine clients. Our certified training staff provides supervised play time and instruction on how to have fun with your dog. We do this through obedience games such as TicTacDog, Dog Buffet, and Musical Canines which we play during our annual events, Woofie's Birthday FunWalk and HowlOWeen.
Many of our clients help us out at public events such as FidoFest in Worthington and have marched with us in the Orange Township July 4th parade. We would love to have you join us in next year's Doggie Drill Team!
Community Support
We are proud to be a part of the community we serve. As a small, independent, full service dog training facility, our clients are our neighbors—the people we know by name. Our business is built on integrity and a very simple philosophy: Provide the best canine resources to our clients by a well-trained, friendly and caring team.
