With a common hope of improving the health and welfare of humans afflicted with rare tumors (and canines affected with the same respective cancer), Van Andel Research Institute (VARI) and the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) have rallied an unprecedented national alliance of veterinarians, basic scientists, and clinicians to form the Canine Hereditary Cancer Consortium (CHCC). Over the course of the last year, members of the CHCC have begun to define the fundamental goals that would characterize its growth with respect to cancer discovery in the coming decade.

Camp Pawsitive Adventure is fun-filled adventure to enjoy with your favorite canine companion! The camp includes all lodging and meals, as well as activities to enjoy with your dog! Camp begins on Thursday in September and runs through Sunday morning. The camp provides a wide range of concurrent activities daily that appeal to all breeds of dogs.

COGS is a volunteer group organized to provide qualified Therapy Dogs and their handlers for visitations to institutions, facilities, and other locations where needed in the Columbus Metropolitan area.

The primary objective of a certified Therapy Dog and handler is to provide comfort and companionship by sharing the unconditional love a dog offers.
